Frankenstein: Twenty-First Century
These items are bound together by their existence in the twenty-first century and have twisted the original narrative of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein into something altogether different. Taking on modern attitudes as well as absorbing ideas from artifacts of the past, this leg of the exhibition combines classic interpretations with fresher, unique distortions of the creature that lend themselves to anything from movies, to lesson plans, to cartoons.
