In 2015, 20th Century Fox released this movie that is loosely based off of Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein. Starring two big name actors James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe, the movie displays more about the relationship between Victor and his assistant Igor who is not even a character in the original novel.
The creature that is created by the two men is definitely adapted to be one that would be cinimatically pleasing to modern day movie-goers, but not something that is following Mary Shelley's vision that closely. While the creature is not featured with bolts on his neck or a square shaped head like the 1931 movie version, this monster is much more menacing with his almost animal like face and teeth.
